Brumby Rally Kosciuszko National Park - Long Plain Gate

We attended the rally Long Plain Gates, Kosciuszko National Park 29th January 2022, where we many strong advocates came together to place stakes in the ground to signify both the loss we all feel for the many Brumbies who have been removed from the only environment they know to be placed on a truck and sent to slaughter under current government policies and to also stand firm with our voices for the remaining Brumbies that roam freely in the mountains.

Today was a day where those who may have once disagreed about the Brumby plight to stand together, shoulder to shoulder knowing that we are all fighting for the same outcome.

I am sure I can speak for many who have walked this road for years that past efforts have been weak as we all vied for our own ideas, it is obvious today that we do need each other as one voice.

This Brumby plight is far from over, we have been standing firm on this entire journey for over decade and we will continue, remembering to stay true, stay focused and support each other as we stand against incorrect science and governments that would deplete our very own Aussie Icon. The Brumby.
