Help Our Old Friends Survive is our land project motto, we have a vision, we have been working towards that for over a decade and with our newly opened charity shop we've added another avenue that will help us continue with our fundraising efforts.
Our charity shop is located in Chanter St Berrigan, New South Wales, Australia and was beautifully organised and stocked by a few HOOFS volunteers, some family members and of course John, everyone worked long hours in the shop and we are all so very proud of the work we have done.
The shop would not be what it is without all the generous donations of items that we have on display and for sale, the gratitude we hold in our hearts is bursting outwards. Never once did we ever dream that HOOFS would have it's very own charity shop to help with fundraising. Now we have it and with every sale we move one step closer towards our land project.
Many said we couldn't do it, many questioned our dream, many expressed their concerns, many challenged us and tried to sabotage our efforts but we've been on this journey for over a decade. We've experienced the struggles, the lows, the heartaches, and the sadness, we've also walked though the good times, the sheer joyful moments, the successes and have shared so much love for every Brumby that has come into our sanctuary.
HOOFS has meaning and purpose, it stands for "HELP OUR OLD FRIENDS SURVIVE" and that is exactly what we are doing. Brumbies are our old friends, they are an asset to Australia, they are an icon and we will achieve our biggest goal and that is MIRRABOOKA BAROOMBY MOONYAH also known as SOUTHERN CROSS WHILD HORSE SAFE HOUSE.
